Marketing Intern | Graphic Design & In-Game Social Media
As a Marketing Intern for the Gateway Grizzlies, I worked to enhance the team’s digital presence and in-game experience during their milestone 25th anniversary season. My work focused on graphic design, real-time content creation, and supporting the execution of sponsor activations and fan engagement strategies across multiple platforms.
I designed a wide range of digital and print assets, from gameday graphics and promotional materials to branded templates, adhering closely to team branding and sponsor guidelines. These materials were used in both pre-game promotions and during games to create a cohesive visual identity that reflects the team’s energy and professionalism.
On game days, I was responsible for capturing and posting live content to the team’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. I created in-the-moment updates, promotion highlights, recap posts, and fan interaction posts that celebrated player achievements, boosted sponsor visibility, and kept fans engaged throughout the game.
Additionally, I collaborated with the front office team to support larger marketing efforts around themed nights, special events, and anniversary celebrations. This included preparing graphics for giveaways, posting sponsor shoutouts, and contributing to the overall fan experience both online and in-stadium.

Building on my experience with the Ice Dawgs, my time with the Gateway Grizzlies pushed me further into the world of live sports content. I am in the process of expanding my skills in graphic design and in-game social media, learning how to balance creative storytelling with sponsor visibility and branding consistency. While supporting the team during the start of its 25th anniversary season, I saw firsthand how thoughtful digital content can elevate the fan experience and deepen brand loyalty.
